It would be great if we could say: “I’m always relaxed, nothing can freak me out and I’m so positive!” However, we all know this is not true. Our stressful lives can really get to us and sometimes we just feel overwhelmed.

Starting to exercise regularly, really helped me to relieve stress. Regular exercise had a significant impact on how I reacted to stressful situations. Therefore, I tried to exercise 3-5 times a week. However, because of my job and social life I sometimes am not able to do a full workout sessions when I planned it. What really proved to be a great meditation activity for me is stretching.

Even though, I am not the most flexible person, stretching exercises helped me to take 5-10 minutes in the morning or after work. I stop for a moment and have time to reflect about the past couple of days. No matter what I am wearing and where I am – at home, at the office, at a hotel – there is always a time window to do some stretching exercises.
